Equipment, one of the most crucial components in construction, is one of the pillars of GEPL. We have a huge fleet of equipments, enabling prompt mobilization to project sites all over Odisha, ensuring timely completion.
Our equipment fleet is updated to maintain our competitive advantage. Equipment asset planning, procuring, tracking, maintaining and retiring are closely monitored with ERP software that handles over 11,500 items of equipments, in over 190 categories, across project sites all over Odisha.
This ensures timely audits for preventive maintenance and supports our highly skilled operations and maintenance crew to minimize downtime of equipment at project sites.
From earthmoving, material handling, pipeline lying to road construction equipment, our fleet is continuously increased to maintain our competitive edge and constantly managed at the highest level for optimal performance.
Our technical team is highly experienced and practices with comprehensive and preventive conditional maintenance.
Central Workshop
Bhubaneswar, Odisha
GEPL has a comprehensive equipment maintenance and repair facility at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Spread over 200000 sqft, the facility encompasses a repair workshop, tool room, inspection bay and testing bench. This workshop is capable of stripping, repairing and reconditioning our all types of construction equipment like Excavators, Backhoe Loader, Soil Compactor, Dozers, Self Loading Mixture, Transit Miller, Tipper, Bitumen Sparyr’s , Air Compressor’s, AMW etc.

Warehouse
Around 30Nos of separate warehouse for storage of project material and Spare Parts are available inside Odisha.
All the warehouses are built in an area of 18 m x 40 m. An Oracle-based ERP system is being used to maintain and update inventory.
Dust-free Rooms
These rooms are used for the repair of high-precision components like engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps and motors.
Fabrication shop facilities
The fabrication shop undertakes the fabrication of piping / structures for the ongoing projects.
Spare Parts Store
For timely availability of spares required in the repair of construction equipment & around 1000 spare parts store is connected online with the corporate office and all project sites.
Manpower
More than 300 Skilled and experienced personnel are available to repair and recondition construction equipment. Regular trainings are imparted to persons to make them aware of the latest technologies & maintenance practices.
Training Room
Training Room with projector & other facilities is available to impart regular trainings to Workshop & site personnel. The trainings are conducted by internal & external Executives.
Office & Accommodation area
The base camp also houses the residential accommodation, mess and recreational facilities.
Health, Safety & Environment
The base camp is equipped with a clinic and ambulance for any emergency situation. Camp is equipped with safety equipments like fire fighting vehicle, fire extinguishers, file alarm, emergency alarms, etc. as per company policy. Personnel deployed in camp are trained for handling emergency situations. This shop is having facility of Lathe, Grinding P.
